​​Good Afternoon Choir Malmesbury have chosen to support MND Association
with their fundraising concerts and events in 2026

The Good Afternoon Choir Malmesbury rehearse every Wednesday afternoon at Malmesbury Town Hall from 2.00-4.00pm.

Grenville Jones, the founder of the Good Afternoon Choirs is delighted that Corrie Darker is the leader of the Good Afternoon Choir Malmesbury.

Corrie has lived in Malmesbury for twelve years and is an active member of the local music community. She conducted her first choir at 14 and has been Assistant Musical Director of the Malmesbury Community Choir since 2019. She also leads and sings with local acapella group, The Minuettes.

A warm welcome awaits any new members, there are NO auditions and everyone is welcome! There is no charge for attending your first rehearsal. Come alone or with a friend – either way the Choir will be pleased to meet you. You will be joining over 1,000 people singing at Good Afternoon Choirs around the South West and beyond!

Membership forms are available to collect at every rehearsal. The choir rehearsals are in 4 terms of 10 weeks and members pay £63 per term – this covers room and piano hire, music, admin and musician fees. You do not need to join at the start of a term, you can simply come along to any rehearsal and pick up a membership form should you wish to join the choir – your fee will then be worked out for the remainder of that term.

Fran White - Accompanist
Good Afternoon Choir MALMESBURY
​Fran has taught music privately for 33 years, and accompanied a variety of vocal and instrumental groups, individuals and choirs, over the years, here and abroad.
She accompanies a church congregation on piano or pipe organ, and formed a Church choir in Chippenham in 2009, which she led for 4 years.
Fran has started a new choir there in October 2025 and enjoys accompanying the GAC in Malmesbury.
