The Good Afternoon Choir Devizes rehearse every Friday afternoon at St Andrew's Church, Devizes from 1.00-3.00pm.

Grenville Jones, the founder of the Good Afternoon Choirs is delighted that Paula Boyagis is the leader of the Good Afternoon Choir Devizes.

Paula is a mezzo soprano and flautist. She has taught peripatetic music in various schools throughout the county, has run children’s choirs and has been MD for the Lavington Community Choir for 10 years. Paula is also a soloist with White Horse Opera and has performed in many genres with different companies over the years in the South of England.

A warm welcome awaits any new members, there are NO auditions and everyone is welcome! There is no charge for attending your first rehearsal. Come alone or with a friend – either way the Choir will be pleased to meet you. You will be joining over 1,000 people singing at Good Afternoon Choirs around the South West and beyond!

Membership forms are available to collect at every rehearsal. The choir rehearsals are in 4 terms of 10 weeks and members pay £63 per term – this covers room and piano hire, music, admin and musician fees. You do not need to join at the start of a term, you can simply come along to any rehearsal and pick up a membership form should you wish to join the choir – your fee will then be worked out for the remainder of that term.

Good Afternoon Choir Devizes
Tony has taught the piano for over 30 years. He accompanies various choirs including the Trowbridge Philharmonic, Bradford on Avon choir and Devizes White Horse Opera. He was delighted to be asked to be the rehearsal pianist for the GAC choir. He also accompanies students for their instrumental exams and plays background music at wedding receptions. His second instrument is the viola which he plays in his local orchestra.
